Using Google Voice as a classroom audio recording tool
Use Google Voice (Voice) to create audio question prompts to which students can record audio responses using their own phones.
Voice creates a phone number that students call to leave voicemail messages. Question prompts can be recorded as the voicemail greeting and even customized so that different classes receives different greetings. Teachers can then navigate students’ recordings in an interface similar to Gmail and play recordings directly through a web browser without downloading files or opening separate audio players.
